Right now, not much. It's a long commute to a remote area, the leadership and culture are toxic.
Being given clear objectives and being appreciated for doing quality work.
Culture and leadership - I would like to see the executive team walk around and interact with the employees more and gain insight into how they perceive the company, and what support they need to make the company better.
Executive leadership needs to hold managers accountable instead of castigating rank and file employees in meetings. The CEO and vice presidents need to do more "management by walking around" and see how things are in the company. Managers need to uphold the standard instead of punishing complainers.
Management pushes responsibility on responsive subordinates - in essence, they get punished for being productive and responsible. Coworkers have to motivate unresponsive/lazy coworkers to collaborate or pick up their slack. Management needs to do their job.
