I had quite a few managers and only had a couple that came off with that "I'm the boss, just do what I asked you to do."
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Besides the fact that my store was understaffed, when I found out through the grapevine, that store locations were closing, I was told there would be incentives if I stayed until the last day. However, that was not the case, I wasn't a lead or manager so there were NO incentives for me.
