Experience was great in the beginning and then the expansions began sending this company into a whirlwind. Employees are ok, management is ineffective and decisions are made poorly. Management focuses on minute things and seen to miss the bigger picture at times.
What are some of the best things about your team?
We work as a team most times. People are mostly friendly.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Poor communication, ineffective leadership and organizational skills would dramatically improve this company.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Overworked and underpaid. I would feel valued if people with less experience and education were not making more than me.
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
Leadership/ management. Employing people with some type of experience so you aren't feeling like you are giving the education you paid for away for free and to someone that makes more than you
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Leadership could communicate more effectively with employees. They could act as a more cohesive unit and praise workers for a job well done. They could also focus on solving problems instead of adding to them.
