When I joined Elekta there seemed to be more of an influence of "human care" as our mission states. Recently it seems like the human care as become catering to corporations to push as many "humans" through as fast as possible for treatment, versus treating them and catering to them as a human.
What are some of the best things about your team?
We have a collective goal, and push each other to improve to better assist each other and the company.
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
Quit the "pizza party" morale boosters, focus more on actually improving work flows, training, education, and hiring. Constantly running on the bare minimum causes a higher turn over, affecting those who stick around picking up more slack because they have to maintain the weight.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Refocus on proper training and education for its employees. Go back to your core values of the end customer, the patient, not the corporation that's truly in it for the money. Yes, its a company, it needs to make a profit, but there's a way to do it an maintain a soul.
