What needs to change to make the company culture better?

Transparency at all levels. There is none of that now. I've never worked for a company where most of my coworkers (including many of the leaders one level above me) have no idea what's going on regarding certain areas of their business. It's mind boggling to me. The lack of transparency is crazy.

What are some of the best things about your team?

My coworkers are smart and they care about doing right for the customers . Most of them go out of their way to solve a problem and they do it in such a way that they respectfully engage other departments. My team understands that the right thing to do may not be easy but it's important.
