Mr. Scott C. Dettmer is a Founding Partner of Gunderson Dettmer Stough Villeneuve Franklin & Hachigian, LLP. Mr. Dettmer has extensive experience in private and public offerings, mergers and acquisitions, corporate partnering transactions and strategic alliances. Mr. Dettmer served as a Secretary at SoftCoin Inc. Mr. Dettmer practice focused on the representation of fast-growing private and publicly-held companies, particularly within the information technology industry. Mr. Dettmer serves as a Vice Chairman of KQED Inc. He served as a Director of Tahoe Networks and SoftCoin, Inc. Mr. Dettmer is a Member of the American Bar Association, Business Law Section and the California State Bar. Mr. Dettmer received his J.D. in 1982 from the University of Southern California, where he graduated Order of the Coif, and his BA in 1978 from the University of California at Santa Barbara.

David Sharrow has been Partner of Gunderson Dettmer Stough Villeneuve Franklin & Hachigian, LLP since December 2011. David Sharrow was previously a Partner of Gunderson Dettmer Stough Villeneuve Franklin & Hachigian, heads it's Technology Group in New York office. David Sharrow specializes in the areas of intellectual property counseling, intellectual property transactions; U.S. and international corporate partnering; strategic alliances; joint ventures and spin-offs; technology acquisition and licensing; intellectual property strategy, counseling, protection and commercialization; as well as assisting with the intellectual property and technology aspects of venture capital financings, public offerings and mergers/acquisitions. David Sharrow holds a Juris Doctor, summa cum laude, from Catholic University of America.

Mr. Kirk E. Lundburg is a Partner at Gunderson Dettmer Stough Villeneuve Franklin & Hachigian. His areas of practice include corporate law, private business law, public corporations, public offerings, business start-ups, securities law, and mergers and acquisitions. He holds a BBA in Finance from Iowa State University in 1982 and a J.D. from University of Southern California in 1985. He was admitted to the California bar in 1985; the Texas bar in 2000.

Mr. Brian C. Hutchings is a Corporate Partner at Gunderson Dettmer Stough Villeneuve Franklin & Hachigian. He serves in the firm's New York office. Mr. Hutchings practice focuses on the representation of private and publicly held companies in the technology and life sciences industries and on the representation of venture funds and institutional investors that invest in those companies. He has extensive experience with a variety of transactions, including venture capital financings, debt financings, public offerings, PIPE transactions, leveraged buyouts, and mergers and acquisitions. Mr. Hutchings also advises a number of companies and investors on compliance with state and federal securities laws. Prior to joining the firm, he was an Associate in Transactions Department at O'Melveny & Myers LLP. During law school, Mr. Hutchings worked in the Legal and Business Affairs departments of Rykodisc, Inc. and Palm Pictures LLC. Prior to law school, he also worked as a Professional Musician. Mr. Hutchings is admitted to practice law in the State of New York. He has earned a J.D., magna cum laude, from Villanova University School of Law and a B.M., summa cum laude, from James Madison University.

Mr. Glen R. Van Ligten served as Secretary of GameFly, Inc. Mr. Van Ligten is Partner of Gunderson Dettmer Stough Villeneuve Franklin & Hachigian, LLP. He was Partner of Orrick Herrington & Sutcliffe L.L.P. He specialized in working with emerging growth Internet companies. He has significant experience representing venture capital and investment banking firms. He served as Co-head of Internet Practice Group of Venture Law Group (VLG) and was its Partner. Prior to joining Venture Law Group in March 1996, he served as a Business and Technology Associate at Brobeck, Phleger & Harrison LLP. He served as an Executive of Heller Ehrman LLP. He served as a Director of Venture Law Group. Mr. Van Ligten served as a Member of Advisory Board at Verifia Inc. He was a Member of the Thurston Honor Society of U.C. Hastings College of Law. Mr. Van Ligten holds a B.S. in Managerial Economics from the University of California, Davis in 1985 with a degree in Managerial Economics, and in 1990 he graduated JD with honors from U.C. Hastings College of Law.

Mr. Jay K. Hachigian J.D. M.B.A. serves as Secretary and Corporate Counsel of Cortria Corporation. Mr. Hachigian is a Founding Partner at Gunderson Dettmer Stough Villeneuve Franklin & Hachigian. He specialized in all areas of corporate law including complex private and public securities transactions and mergers and acquisitions. His practice spans not only software, hardware and services companies, but he also has an extensive life science company practice in the areas of pharmaceuticals, biotechnology and medical devices. Because his practice spans the entire life cycle of a company, he has in-depth experience helping not only new start-ups but also maturing companies seeking liquidity through a public offering or a sale. He is also one of the few attorneys in the country who combines an emerging growth company corporate practice with a top-tier venture fund practice. He serves as Counsel to numerous top-tier venture capital firms across the country, advising those funds on formation and other operational matters. He was a Partner in the Palo Alto office of Brobeck, Phleger & Harrison. Prior to that, Mr. Hachigian served as an Associate in the Los Angeles and New York offices of Latham & Watkins and in the audit group in the San Francisco office of Price Waterhouse. Mr. Hachigian serves as a Member of Advisory Board at PharmaPros Corporation. He was admitted to the California bar in 1985; the New York bar in 1991 and the Massachusetts bar in 2000. He is an active Member of the California, New York, and Massachusetts State Bars. Mr. Hachigian holds a J.D. from the University of Southern California, where he served as Editor-in-Chief of The Southern California Law Review and received multiple American Jurisprudence Awards. Prior to receiving his J.D., he received a Masters in Management with an emphasis in Finance and Accounting from the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University, where he graduated with distinction. Mr. Hachigian also received a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of California, Berkeley.

Mr. Gregg A. Griner is a Partner in the Corporate and Securities Group at Gunderson Dettmer Stough Villeneuve Franklin & Hachigian. Mr. Griner is based in the Boston office of the firm. Previously he was a Partner in the Business Practice Group at Testa, Hurwitz & Thibeault, LLP. Mr. Griner's practice encompasses all areas of general corporate and securities law, with extensive experience in corporate finance, including public offerings (representing issuers, selling stockholders and underwriters) and private placements of equity and debt (representing issuers, investors and lenders); mergers and acquisitions; and venture capital fund formation. He represents companies in all stages of their life cycles, from start-ups to public companies, and in a variety of industries including, software, hardware, information services, media, energy, and pharmaceuticals. Mr. Griner advises these companies in many aspects of their businesses including financings, acquisitions, divestitures, licensing and distribution arrangements, and joint ventures and strategic partnerships. He also represents venture capital firms in their formation, fundraising efforts and maintenance, as well as in their investments in early and later stage operating companies and in complex leveraged transactions and restructurings. Mr. Griner has worked with a number of leading technology companies in connection with their initial and follow-on public offerings and merger and acquisition activities. He has been admitted to the bar in Massachusetts in 1992 and Colorado in 1997. Mr. Griner received his A.B. from Stanford University in 1986 and his J.D. from the University of Chicago in 1992.

Mr. Ivan A. Gaviria is a Partner at Gunderson Dettmer Stough Villeneuve Franklin & Hachigian. Mr. Gaviria is in its Silicon Valley office, practicing in the Corporate and Securities Group. He has extensive experience working with startup and emerging growth companies through their entire lifecycle as well as representing venture capital, private equity, and other investors. Mr. Gaviria also has significant experience representing investment banks in private and public stock offerings, and extensive mergers and acquisitions experience on both the buy and sell side. He has worked with emerging growth companies in a variety of fields, including medical device, life science, telecommunications, internet media and retail. Mr. Gaviria regularly advises clients on a broad range of corporate matters including company formation, equity incentive plans and arrangements, employment matters, intellectual property and strategic transactions. He has also served as investors' counsel for numerous top-tier venture capital funds. Previously, Mr. Gaviria served at Manatt, Phelps & Phillips LLP. He is admitted to practice in California. Mr. Gaviria holds a J.D. from the University of California, Boalt Hall School of Law and a B.A. from Duke University.

Mr. David C. Lee is Partner of : Gunderson Dettmer Stough Villeneuve Franklin & Hachigian, LLP. Mr. Lee served as Partner of Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe. Mr. Lee represented both public and private high technology companies in the semiconductor, networking, software, and Internet industries. His clients include a number of U.S. and China based companies or hybrid companies that are active in China. Mr. Lee's network of entrepreneurs and venture capitalists spans Asia and the United States. He was a member of Heller VLG's China Strategy Committee. Mr. Lee earned a B.A. in English Literature, summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa in 1987 from the University of California, Berkeley and a J.D. from Stanford Law School in 1990, where he was a member of the Stanford Law Review and the Law & Technology Association.
