Discuss better processes to conduct more effective meetings. Remove the micro managing founders who lack context on most challenges and projects from most meetings to help reduce thrashing and erratic guidance. Arrive to meetings on time and with a clear agenda.
The interview process was simple and easy. The only way it could be difficult is if the interviewers didn't like your personality or your work history. If you have pedigree it's pretty easy to work here. If not, you're judged as being second-rate.
Leading. They dictate rather than lead. They make rash decisions and then change their minds constantly. They lack commitment and are easily influenced by the opinions of others. If they do have a strategy, it's not well defined or understood outside the husband and wife founders.
Less politics and more competent management. Above all else, more competent leaders who are capable of empowering others to succeed rather than assume they'll fail without the prophetic guidance from the founders, who seem to have all the answers except why their employees are so unsatisfied.
Customers are constantly complaining about the products because they don't actually work. Instead of investing in making them work, the founders are focused on finding more ways to get money from customers who won't stick around without getting a major break on price. Listen to your customers.
There is no plan or interest in helping develop from within the company. Managers are hired, not developed within the company. There is no plan for compensation growth unless you work very closely with the founders, who expect you to do as they say and at all hours to show them you're worthy.
