Awful, started off good. The the GM's changed and our owner became the president of the company. We were promised a $5 raise for out efforts during covid, that were then cut to $3 and after that all of my hours were cut. Dirty store, bad orders from sysco missing items, also we aren't allowed tips.
What makes you most happy at work?
When I actually get to come to work and make money.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The most positive is the atmosphere in the store, everyone gets along and we all try and make one anothers job easier. Besides management clearly.
What are some of the best things about your team?
The people I work with are great, they're all nice people who work hard. Despite the lack of effort from management it was a good work environment. I'm genuinley sad i'm going to resign because i enjoyed being there.
What would you improve about your company's interview process?
I interviewed with the owner who was not a very nice person, he barely looked at me only at the questionaire. Never really bothered to ask about me, or get to know me as a person.. just to know when i could start and what my avaliability was.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Literally everything, how are you gonna offer me a raise and then realize you can't afford it so you promply move me and 80% of the staff to On Call. As a food service employee there should be absolutley no reason not to allow is to solicit tips, we do not make enough money the customers need to kno
