There's a lot of promise from management about being supportive and caring, which makes for a positive work environment. I think the actual day-to-day work is very exhausting and even demoralizing sometimes though. The excitement for future developments doesn't outweigh the misery of now.
What makes you most happy at work?
Working from home, and having some control and flexibility over my schedule
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Everyone likes to say that they care about you as a person and about your health and well-being. And I don't think they're lying when they say that, there's just no perfect way to combine that care with the demands of the work.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
They're obviously very excited about the company's potential and the need we fill in the industry, so it's cool to see their passion and drive. And it's clear that on some level they do have a very humanized view of employees even if there is mixed messaging sometimes about what they expect from us.
