Im a contractor overseas in UAE. The work is relatively great, however my collegues and I agree we have never been treated so poorly by a site manager or managerial staff in our history of employment. Something needs to be done immediately before we pursue legal action.
What are some of the best things about your team?
My coworkers are amazing, very divers they bring alot of experiance from all walks of life but i fear they are looking for other means of employment due to our management here.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Our leadership has gone far beyond authority to enforce rules and restrictions of their own making to include on an off post restrictions. Even ability to eat in dinning facilities. Its is like working in an unorganized dictatorship.
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
Put the managers in check, or remove them and replace them with someone who has better experiance dealing with employees. Treat us like adults, and not ignorant children who are mass punished. Alot of us are veterans who left the military because of treatment like this.
