In my experience there are decent opportunities to move around/try related career paths, good opportunities for mentorship if you seek them out, good supervisors who care about employee success, but the institution is not very transparent about pay distribution and equality

opportunity for raises every year
What are some of the best things about your team?
good balance between experienced people and people newer to the field; fairly good sense of openness between team members (many people seem to feel comfortable expressing concerns, issues, feedback)
