Previously, he served as Chief Financial Officer of the Duck Head Apparel Company division from August 1992 to February 1998. He joined Duck Head Apparel in 1990. Mr. Grassmyer is a Certified Public Accountant with over twenty years of financial experience in both the public and private sectors. He served five years in public accounting at Ernst & Young, LLC. Mr. Grassmyer holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Appalachian State University and attended the Clemson MBA program. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Washington & Lee University and he is a Certified Public Accountant.
