Overall, very positive. We do not get paid enough for purposes of retention, but the work environment, the team, the support, and the mission of this organization is fantastic.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
There is a clear desire to provide support. Leadership is approachable, and I never fear reprisal.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
It is welcoming and supportive. It does not feel toxic. People genuinely want to do a good job and meet objectives.
What are some of the best things about your team?
They come together to support one another, and to find solutions. No one blames anyone else for issues, only to continue to provide the best experience for each other and students.
What makes you most happy at work?
Being allowed to find solutions, not being micromanaged, and coming in realizing that I will not be entering into a toxic environment. Additionally, interacting with my team is always a joy.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Relative to others in my position in other companies, I am paid noticeably less. It is becoming difficult to justify not moving to another company doing the same job, but with better pay and benefits.
