Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Faculty and student services pay is not competitive with other like organizations. This may contribute to employee turnover and a lack of longevity among faculty. I would like to see this change in the future.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
The leadership team is relational and supports the employees as professionals who are experts in their field. This creates a partnership with the leadership team that allows for the mission of SJVC to be student focused.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
I truly believe our company culture and environment allows us the satisfaction of being part of a meaningful and noble mission to provide educational opportunities to students. I appreciate the participation of all levels of the company having a common goal and focus.
What are some of the best things about your team?
We have an amazing team of faculty at the Online Campus. They are professional, forward thinking, experts in their field. They are innovative and student focused. I appreciate that our team is not complacent and desires to continue to improve the student educational experience.
What makes you most happy at work?
It is a wonderful feeling and opportunity to be a part of the success story of our students. It is a pleasure to be a part of their story and help them make their career goals and dreams come true. It is a meaningful and purpose driven mission I get to be a part of everyday. What a joy that is!
