Mr. F. Quinn Stepan, Jr., has been the Chief Executive Officer of Stepan Company since January 1, 2006 and its President since February 1999. Mr. Stepan served as a Vice President and General Manager of Surfactants at Stepan Company from 1997 to 1999. He served as the Chief Operating Officer of Stepan Company from February 1999 to December 2005. He joined Stepan Company in 1987 after working four years for Monsanto Company. He has been the Chairman at Stepan Company since January 1, 2017 and its Director since 1999. Mr. Stepan serves as a Director of the Follett Corporation. He has been a Director of American Chemical Council since January 1, 2006. He served as a Director of The American Cleaning Institute (known as The Soap and Detergent Association). Mr. Stepan received a BA from the University of Notre Dame in 1982 and an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago in 1988.

Mr. Robert V. Slone, also known as Rob, has been the Chief Technology & Sustainability Officer and Vice President at Stepan Company since July 5, 2016 and July 6, 2016 respectively. Mr. Slone is an Innovation Director at Castrol InnoVentures. Mr. Slone joined Castrol InnoVentures in 2011 from Dow Chemical, where he spent much of his career. His expertise is in the areas of coatings, electronic materials and adhesives research, product development and customer engagement. His formal technical training is in Chemistry and Materials Science.

Ms. Jennifer Ansbro Hale has Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary at Stepan Company since January 13, 2016 and serves as its Chief Compliance Officer. He joined Stepan Company in 1993 as a chemist and was promoted into his first Business Development position in 1998. He moved on to become Global Business Manager for Agricultural Products in 2003. He was then promoted into the position of Director of Functional Sales followed by Director of Functional Products. He was promoted to the Vice President of Business Management in 2008 where he led the continued diversification of Stepan's surfactant business. A native of Bloomingdale, IL, Mr. Behrens attained his Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Illinois State University and his MBA from Northwestern University.
