What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Due to this being a public sector job they are often restricted in what they can do to retain employees. There also seems to be a bit of a 'club' atmosphere, if you are a member life is better.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Better long term vision. That is difficult because the executive positions change so often.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
As a public servant the wages are lower than the private sector. In the past benefits made up the difference but those have been diminishing.
