Lulu has had some rough patches, but the last 3+ years have been a strong upward trend led by the executive team. That's made this a positive and enjoyable place to work and to be part of the company's growing/renewed success.

The number of PTO/Float holidays seems to be ample, as I always have extras come November. The medical/dental is fine and the copays are reasonable as well

Healthcare is good for the cost, the 401k match is solid, and the flexible work schedule (including working from home when needed) is great. Work-life balance has not impacted earnings potential at all.

That I'm contributing to something that helps people all over the world create and sell books. Second to that, I look forward to working with this group of smart, driven, and creative people.

The office is open and very friendly, people move about freely to collaborate and get info from other departments. I feel that when people come to work, they're excited about the work they are doing and look forward to it.

The interview included a total of four employees speaking to me about various aspects of the job. This was awesome because it gave me some insight into the people I would be working with and helped me understand the company culture before I even started.

The people I work with are smart, creative, and always willing to help each other out. The amount of knowledge we share across our specialties and the willingness to go above and beyond for each other makes this a wonderful group of people to work with.

Open offices can be a challenge, but Lulu does a good job migrating that and reaping the benefits of working (physically) close to each other. Plus that they judge our goals on completion rather than attendance means we can work at our own pace and are held accountable for achievements.
