
Our work culture has two strengths in my eyes: (1) a clear mission with positive impact on the world, and (2) an environment that encourage work-life balance and proper work loads to make sure we aren't overworked.
Members of my team (and in Phylum broadly) are sharp and extremely knowledgable, yet also extremely warm and welcoming. People will always be willing to jump in to help, plus it is fun getting to spend time with them, like in our monthly LAN parties or all-hands meetings.
I love the mission of the company, and I love that there is a sense of trust and independence between the company/management and employees. We employees are truly trusted to tackle work in a manner that we see fit, and our feedback, ideas, and suggestions are seriously considered and often adopted.
The leadership team has a clear vision and mission, and they lay that out to us in a way that helps us become invested in it too. Moreover, the leadership team is approachable, friendly, and genuinely seems to care about us as employees and people, e.g., they always make sure we aren't overworked.
