TrueCar has been a fantastic place to grow and flourish as an employee and individual - I have never been bored and am constantly challenged with new and interesting problems to solve
TrueCar treats its people with respect and consideration, though I believe sometimes it is more political that I'd like.
I have had a positive experience at TrueCar and have been provided with opportunities for professional development and career growth. I have never had a manager who has provided me with such actionable feedback and support. This was lacking in previous organizations I worked at.
I am able to show up at work feeling whole and authentic in my core values and expectations from my experience in the TrueCar workforce.

Making the company a success
Pleasant coworkers, interesting problems to solve for the most part, although always living so deep in the car selling/buying world is dry.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at TrueCar?

There's a level of trust and understanding that we are all on the same team. If you succeed, I succeed. If you fail, I fail.
Generally good environment. There's your usual fringe-case bad apples, but that's not neccesarily indicative of the greater work environment

What is the best part about your compensation package at TrueCar?

Overall benefits are quite good. Dependents used to be 100% covered, now there's a co-pay, but still manageable.
Competitive salary with quarterly bonuses. Also, 100% of medical premiums paid and unlimited PTO.

Hard working and passionate
My team is one of the main motivators of the job. Being accountable to deliver good work for them, and overall good chemistry.
What do you like best about the leadership team at TrueCar?
CEO is doing an excellent job of mending all the issues that sent our stock price down (our current stock price reflects his performance).
The new executive team has really pushed the company into a better operating mode.
How difficult is it to maintain a social life while in your job at TrueCar?
Not hard at all!

Incredible culture and people and TrueCar! Autonomous environment to maximize output!
What benefits does TrueCar provide?
TrueCar pays 100% of medical, dental and vision for the employee. There is also a 401k match, equity, gym membership and flexible PTO.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better at TrueCar?
Immediate team and coworkers are great.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved at TrueCar?
It's not a service that people get excited about, especially since we have 2 customer bases (consumers and dealers).

Leadership is neither amazing nor horrible. Just average, which in many contexts, isn't the result you're looking for.
