I work in the Avon CT sotre. While at work my manager approached me in the fitting room and started to talk with me. Then suddenly she grabbed my shoukders and started shaking me asking if i was always this quiet. There were customers in the fitting room diring this interaction.

The environment is extremely hostile. Management bullies employees and makes working there miserable. I would not recommend this job to anyone .

Disorganized, no HR, no training and improper onboarding resulting in confused employees not knowing what is required of the job or what the company or product stands for. Very biased and cult like.

The leadership fosters a culture that makes it OK to make mistakes. They encourage you to own those mistakes, make them right, learn from them, and move on much better for having faced them. I love the Growth Mindset they promote.

Needs a much stronger / streamlined flow of communication. GM’s are constantly trying to keep up with ineffective change and not respected as key driver’s of in store performance.

Here are a few ideas to improve on company culture. 1) There need to be more opportunities for advancement. 2) Consistent onboarding and training for all employees. 3) Bonus pay this year was great for frontline workers due to COVID but should be offered yearly. 4) Increase pay to $15 per hour.

There is no company culture in our store... it feels like we are on an island... the managers are poorly trained and the quality in which they are hired is poor. They create a negative culture with favoritism..

like I said hire better management and take HR complaints seriously, they are all there, and never investigated. Multiple complaints by half the staff.
