Pay increases after hire are minimal. Management is stingy with merit, market and promotional increases, unless you're a relative or referral of the CEO and his C-Suite friends. Much harder to promote or earn a decent wage if you're female. We're all hoping new owners will change things.

Undervalued because I know I can go outside and get more money and the company is ok if you leave for more money. It's not even more money, it's being paid at market. Compensation - being paid equal or close to male counterpart for same job.
