What kind of activities do employees at ESA participate in outside of work?
We used to have lots of fun training and informational gatherings at places like Dave and Busters, Main Even, Top Golf.. but the past year we haven’t had anything.

I haven’t used my dental insurance yet, but the premium is very affordable.

The high turnover rate and the real reason why.

Positive attitude and strong work ethic
How hard is it to get promoted at ESA?
This also depends on your direct supervisor. If you have one that backs and supports you moving up, you’ll move up quickly. If you have one that doesn’t pull for their employees, you’ll be stuck in the same position.
How long does it take to hear back after applying to ESA?
Depends on the GM.

Typically pretty fast if they are interested in hiring you.

How's the vacation policy at ESA?
If you’re lucky enough to get a full time position, the PTO accrual is awesome! Tops out at 100 vacation hours per year, so you have to use them or lose them. And using them let’s you acquire more PTO. Plus 6 personal holidays a year.
What are the differences between maternity and paternity leave at ESA?
No difference. It’s all under FMLA
How do you feel about ESA's future?
They are currently franchising out a great deal of their properties, and from what I’ve seen they are bringing in less and less revenue each year when comparing quarter
How common is it to switch departments or teams at ESA?
There is an extremely high employee turnover rate at ESA, especially in the market I’m in, so people don’t often stay around long enough to switch departments or teams.
How often do employees get raises at ESA?
So far I’ve gotten one every year in June, but this year there has been no talk of one at all.

The AGM, it took a week.. I kept having to call them, they would never call me.
