He has over 40 years of deep retail relationships and experience focused on fashion, marketing, and retail. He served as Chief Executive Officer at Kidbox. He served as Executive Director, Group President of Li & Fung USA. His brand portfolio includes Regatta, Simply Vera Vera Wang, Daisy Fuentes, Ellen Tracy, Nicole Miller, Karl Karl Lagerfeld, Adrienne Vittadini, and Marchesa; as well as Keds and Skechers. He led designer collaborations with retailers such as Macy's, including Matthew Williamson and Giambattista Valli; and Kohl's, including Narciso Rodriguez, Derek Lam, Catherine Malandrino, Peter Som, and Elie Tahari. He also led the Oxford team, which produced Target's collaborations, including Missoni, Proenza Schouler, Jason Wu, Prabal Gurung, Zac Posen, Rodarte, Alexander McQueen, Thakoon, and Jean Paul Gaultier. He served as the Chairman of the Board and President of Regatta USA, LLC and also served as its Chief Executive Officer from 1995 to 2007. Prior to Regatta, he co-founded Gitano. Mr. Dabah also serves on the Board of K.I.D.S./Fashion Delivers. He is an advisor to Global Brands Group (recently spun off from LF USA). He is also on the advisory boards of Metamorphic Ventures, Firstime Ventures, Brayola, Stylitics, and Linc Global. He is a Disruptor Foundation fellow. An expert in the brand management field, he is considered a pioneer of the proprietary brand business model. He is considered by many as the originator of the proprietary brand business model.
