It was warm and welcoming, there was no weird intimidation I've noticed at other companies. They communicated well with me from application to job offer.
The people. There is such a variety of people but the one thing they all have in common is respect and kindness. I feel lucky to be able to work with these people every day.
Personally, the flexibility to work from home/unlimited vacation days is huge for me. I feel even more motivated to use my time wisely and find myself consistently producing high-quality work and I attribute a lot of that to leadership creating a great environment of work/life balance.
I think one of the most positive things about our culture is our commitment to D&I. We have a long way to go but have already made some huge accomplishments that we are so proud of. Everyone has a voice, professional development support, and opportunity for growth.
We all work hard -- no one is hovering or micro-managing. We can count on each other to do what needs to be done. We also are ready to pick up each others slack when unexpected life things come up. It's really great to trust the people you spend most of your hours with and know they trust you too.
