She served as Vice President and President of Hot Breakfast of The Quaker Oats Company, a division of Pepsico from 1998 to 2000. She worked at Quaker Oats until 2004 after serving for 25 years in various capacities. Ms. Kawalek served as President of Quaker U.S. Foods division of PepsiCo since 2001. She was an employee of The Quaker Oats Company since 1979 and since 1982 held various management positions. She served as Vice President of the Wholesome Variety Unit since 1992.
