In spite of being in silos everyone does their best to move forward and stay as positive as possible.
There's an attempt to be positive with each other in spite of the obvious limitations of top-down siloed decision making that routinely slows down decisions or confuses directions between teams.
Flatten the management - Move away from silos of closed loop decision making. Empower your team members with communication and delegate responsibilities to become a more agile organization. STOP hemorrhaging cash because executive staff takes forever to make a decision and then underpays employees!
Respecting the professional expertise of my team and all of our colleagues by trusting us to be decision making stake holders instead of parking us in top-down silos as we watch the org hemorrhage funds due to a lack of agility. Then provide us the commensurate compensation for growing revenue.
Decision making in silos causes an alarming amount of bureaucratic reporting - Managers are constantly asked to micro-manage and evaluate their professional colleagues on an hourly basis. This leads to a sense of cynicism in direct opposition to the publicly stated mission of the org.
