Extremely painful, negative, and degrading
The years I've put in at UM have been absolutely brutal to my mental health. Leadership aggressively pushes back on those who try to push the boundaries or think outside the box. Management will push their teams to their breaking points regularly. Made fun of on a regular basis for my speech by boss
