We need a culture that cares about the employees but we're owned by an investment firm and they basically don't know that employees exist or are actual humans with feelings and desires. This is obviously hyperbole but I do think it gets at the heart of the matter nicely.
I enjoyed talking with people who actually worked at the company and getting their perspectives. This was two years ago though and Greenway is basically a different company at this point. Only one of the people who interviewed me is still here and the other left due to politics from the first one.
No one has a say in anything about this company except for the few executives and they have proven themselves to be incompetent in many ways. The people doing the actual work are never consulted or considered. As for money, obviously a higher salary would fix this issue but it wouldn't fix it all.
