What's the Sales team like at Aflac?

As an independent agent representing Aflac, the sales team is an encouraging group of new and veteran agents working with businesses and individuals to help protect their family from the indirect non medical expenses associated with a serious illness or accident. A new associate is assigned to work with a district sales coordinator whose purpose is to train new associates and coordinate the activity of the associates. The DSC also helps with motivation and ongoing product knowledge. Please note, the associate is a ground level position. And as an independent contractor the associate is responsible for building his or her on book of business. This is the real advantage of the associate opportunity because an associate can work as much or as little as they want. You get compensated based on the number of sales you make. Aflac teaches you how to “fish” they don’t give you a “fish”.
