
Office Depot plays games with the potential to EARN any additional compensation. They change the rules after the fact to suit this greedy executive pockets. From the store managers down to the cashiers they are mostly underpaid and under appreciated by the corporate level employees and management.
The store level management can only support and motivate their associates with minimal backing from corporate. Expectations are way to high with the limited payroll and reduced team and traffic flow. More and better advertising to increase traffic and better pricing on certain high turn items. Treat the store level employees as well as the corporate employees are treated. We are abused enough by the public.
My co workers need to not feed into any negative press or negative attitudes because they feel like the company doesn’t appreciate anything they do. They need to focus and get the job done and take good care of the customers with a positive attitude. Even if it is just for personal integrity.
