  • It is actually pretty good. You start off with two weeks, are given a couple floating holidays and also have all holidays off including a day or two before or after certain ones dependent on days of week they fall on. You continue you earn more vacation time through the yrs. for sick days you use you short term disability. If that exceeds 3 days you need a dr note and may have to activate the plan. It was recently changed a couple yrs ago that you can only carry 5 vacation days forward into the new yr. must use all floaters etc. vacation time is accrued monthly, however you can still use a lump sum as long as it doesn’t exceed what you get throughout the yr.

  • Typical 120 hr/yr vacation 10hr/month acquisition.

  • This question is a bit too much and again prying into parts of the company that doesn’t need to be spoken about with anyone other then the CEO or other upper management/corporate employees who actually directly work with the CEO. Otherwise there truly isn’t a need for this information to be known unless you are interested in a position that requires close contact. If that’s the case it is better off being obtained directly from the source or those around the CEO.

  • The company culture is pretty top notch compared to most as well as the fact that it’s incredibly large, manufactures an incredibly diverse array of product and is works world wide. They are very family oriented and all positions require a great deal of team work and interactions with your fellow employees. The facilities I work with are pretty close knit and many of the employees have worked together for decades and a lot of friendships have developed with the mass majority of them. Bosch also has different activities throughout the yr to break things up and also focus on your health and helping the community. For a very large company the culture is fantastic. I can’t soeak for other facilities or how things may differ in other countries. However I do work with 100s of people between two facilities and honestly have never had such a great team to work with.

  • I believe this question is prying a bit to far into the company. It is no ones business to know what is going on in these areas not to mention that this information is something that would need to be obtained by cooperate. All companies have ups and downs, even growing pains. Bosch is a very successful company and makes a very diverse collection of products. This company is known for its quality and standards. The innovative process is always in play, and improvements are a top priority.

  • I can only speak for the facilities I work with. The vibe of the office, shop floor and manufacturing is pretty good. Most of the employees have been with the company for decades and everyone knows each other pretty well. Most are very close knit and I personally have made some amazingly my friends. Of course you will always have some that you may not get along with or trouble makers of sorts but it’s not full of teenage drama or things like that as you are dealing with mature adults in a professional atmosphere. Any issues you may have would be the same as any other company. Bosch strives to be more famous lay oriented and also do activities throughout the yrs to rais money for charities, promote a healthy life style even by giving out prizes for certain things. And most importantly to bring employees together.

  • They’re no specifics. The questions are always changing and you are interviewed by HR and a panel of management that you will be working with the closest. Obviously you will be tested on the knowledge you have for whatever position you are going for. It is always a very thourough interview. If the job is not a good fit or you are wingIng it that will most certainly be apparent right away. Bosch requires the employees to have skill in the position they are wanting. All the positions at Bosch are very skilled and require college degrees, tech degrees, and a manufacturing background.

  • Being a part of the entire process. Watching things come together. It starts with a sale, then goes to engineering and procurement. We manufacture a lot of our own parts as well as assemble the machines. So you get to see a large piece of material be machined into sometimes very intricate parts. Then assembled to creat the final product. That never gets old watchIng it all come together. It’s amazing to be a part of such an innovated company.

  • Not that I am aware of. We can work remotely though but it’s necessary that you are in the facility during scheduled hrs. Working remotely would only be to catch up, complete sensitive projects, work when sick at home, keep up on vacation. No one is full time remotely.

  • Work life balance isn’t too bad. If you are a machInest or assembly you may have mandatory overtime daily or Saturday’s if busy. Salary positions have weekend off. You may have to put in overtime and sometimes bring laptop home if you choose to stay ahead or during busy times. It is definitely a fast pace environment and challenging at times. It all depends on how long you take for lunch etc. if you need to do specific hrs it’s most likely that can be arranged as long as you are there during peak hrs.
