I worked for Christie just over eleven years and one of the many things that I learned was, “hard work” is rewarded with “more work” without more pay. Most of the people that get promoted are the people who know how to feed into the ego of management even if they aren’t good at their job. Most of Christie’s executive management are narcissists, this is why they never see themselves as the problem, they will always blame it on someone or something else and never reflect on their own short comings or listen to constructive criticism, it is impossible for a narcissist to do this. They surround themselves in their inner circle with people who stroke their ego rather than healthy people who will be honest and tell management the truth knowing that it will be a hard thing for management to receive.
