Very poorly, in fact the women that are the managers of HR are friends with different coworkers in other departments. They at times would share confidential things with them that should have never been shared. It made us not trust them and at times not go to them with pressing issues.

Some really good people but then there’s a lot of “strange” ones too. Two guys that are there who are both married are always in a creepy way hit on all of the new hire women. HR has warned them in the past due to complaints but they are still there and continue to behave in a creepy way to the women and especially the new ones

Poor at best. They may have a pow wow meeting or even one on one meetings where you manager will ask how they honestly fell and then use that against you later. This has caused ppl to leave or not be honest when asked.

If you excel at the ability to stroke egos you have a very good chance of slashing your way up the ranks. Most of the people that get promoted are the people who know how to feed into the ego of management even if they aren’t good at their job. Most of Christie’s executive management are narcissists, this is why they never see themselves as the problem, they will always blame it on someone or something else and never reflect on their own short comings or listen to constructive criticism, it is impossible for a narcissist to do this. They surround themselves in their inner circle with people who stroke their ego rather than healthy people who will be honest and tell management the truth knowing that it will be a hard thing for management to receive.

Very busy, you won’t be board but you may not like the stress either. They are understaffed and have a hard time holding on to good people because they all end up leaving

Once in a blue moon. Over eleven years I only received only 4 raises and they were minimal like .50 and hour more….it was pathetic

You must be self-motivated yourself, they have no vision at all for employee development and the smarter you are because your drive the more work you will receive for very little or no compensation. They don’t give you any incentive to take on more responsibility, or they will dangle a carrot in front of you but never follow thru.

They don’t do these anymore but when they did it was forced and fake. The leaders have no idea on how to actually team build. In fact they will hire certain people that create a “hostile” work environment

My senior director was/is a very talented, bright, intelligent individual just as her predecessor was, however her down fall is that she’s insecure and ego driven. It clouds her judgement causing her to make poor decisions, this stops her from becoming great. She micromanaged my boss and did not allow him to freely manage the RMA team thus putting extra stress on him and the team. Many people left in my last few years because of her but she refuses to see that she is the reason, she would rather blame it on my boss making him the fall guy.

I worked for Christie just over eleven years and one of the many things that I learned was, “hard work” is rewarded with “more work” without more pay. If you are looking for a place that recognizes and rewards talented, hardworking people, you will be sorely disappointed. On the other hand, if you thrive off of drama, back stabbing, manipulation, smoke and mirrors, and brown nosing, this will be your castle. If you excel at the ability to stroke egos you have a very good chance of slashing your way up the ranks. If finding an environment where maturity and interdependency are understood and valued by management, and synergy is created as a result, then Christie will not be your kingdom. However, if you feel at home wading thru a moat of codependent leaders who are driven by their ego and insecurity, then Christie will be your playground. Very little cohesiveness exists within the operation, a lot of smoke and mirrors are put up to mask this as each department manager has their own agenda rather than working cohesively together for a common goal. This makes it very difficult and frustrating when interacting with the other departments.
