Mr. Ming Yang has been the Chief Financial Officer of Daqo New Energy Corp. since July 6, 2015. Mr. Yang has significant breadth of experience in corporate finance, capital markets, business development and corporate strategy. Mr. Yang served as Senior Research Analyst at Piper Jaffray Companies since March 14, 2007. He served as the Vice President of Business Development and Corporate Communications at JA Solar Holdings Co., Ltd. since January 2009. He joined JA Solar in January of 2009. He has more than six years of experience working as a Wall Street buyside and sellside analyst, specializing in the renewable energy and semiconductor materials sectors. Mr. Yang was a management consultant at McKinsey & Company, where he specialized in the cleantech and solar sectors. His work focused on such areas as corporate strategy, market strategy, performance management, risk management and growth initiatives. Most recently, he was an analyst covering the renewable energy sector at Coatue Management, a $2 billion hedge fund based in New York. Before that, he was vice president at Piper Jaffray for four years, as senior China research analyst covering solar energy and semiconductor materials, based in Shanghai. He served as Analyst at Piper Jaffray Companies, Research Division. Mr. Yang started his Wall Street career as an analyst at Dreman Value Management. Mr. Yang earned his Master of Business Administration degree with concentration in Finance and Strategy from Cornell University and a Bachelor's Degree in Electronic Engineering and Computer Science from the University of California at Berkeley.
