Learning the industry is the biggest challenge. It is complex and ever-changing, but once you have a grasp of that, the work itself isn't too terribly challenging. That being said, every day is different. On any given day, a mind-bending situation could arise, and the biggest challenge there is just to be a problem solver and don't be afraid to ask for help.
I feel pretty challenged on the technical aspects, and the political aspect is incredibly challenging with people constantly throwing other under the bus and undermining people to get ahead. The culture is extremely toxic and I hate every singlle day going there with a passion. It's a horrible atmosphere and a horrible way to live a life.
