Dr. Raymond V. Damadian, M.D. serves as President and Treasurer of Health Management Corporation of America ('HMCA'), a subsidiary of FONAR Corporation. Dr. Damadian serves as the Principal Financial Officer of Fonar Corporation and has been its Treasurer since February 2001. He served as the President of Fonar Corp. since its inception in 1978 and as its Chief Executive Officer until February 11, 2016, Treasurer since February 2001 and also served as its Chief Financial Officer. Dr. Damadian served as the Acting principal Financial Officer of FONAR Corp. He has been a Director of Fonar Corp. since 1978. He serves as a Director of Health Management Corporation of America. Dr. Damadian is a 1988 recipient of the National Medal of Technology and in 1989 was inducted into the National Inventors Hall of Fame, for his contributions in conceiving and developing the application of magnetic resonance technology to medical applications including whole body scanning and diagnostic imaging. He serves as Chairman of the Board of Fonar Corp. In addition, Dr. Damadian conducted post-graduate work at Harvard University, where he studied extensively in the fields of physics, mathematics and electronics. Dr. Damadian received an M.D. degree in 1960 from Albert Einstein College of Medicine, New York and a B.S. degree in Mathematics from the University of Wisconsin in 1956.
