
Was one of the few standout benefits as pay, bonuses and other benefits diminished. Company now claims research shows lower engagement, but our own actual engagement result don’t show that. The move to force people back into an office was 100% built to find excuse to let even more people in US go.
For many people working from home at IBM is very easy. However, the "colocation" bug hit marketing and other groups very heavily, in which many thousands were forced to come to the office every day.
It used to be very flexible and now it is very limited and approved on a case by case basis. That flexibility was one of the favorite aspects of working at IBM for many people.
Non-existent anymore. Calling everyone back in to open "collaborative" spaces is why so many seasoned professionals have left, been laid off, or forced out. Productivity has tanked, as well as morale.
there are people at my site that haven't been into the office in the last 4 months. but it varies depending on location.
