In the area I worked in there were a fair amount of female employees as well as ethnic diversity. This was an engineering department, so we were well above the norm for females. I was once told that the only reason I was treated the way I was (well, I guess?) was because I was a female. Do with that what you will.
I am a part of 3 teams, both of those teams have 2 women. Out of 4 total, 3 of those are in leadership roles. From a leadership perspective we have adequate diversity, but not so from a non-leadership role perspective.

There are 2 women on a team of 9 developers. While not a large number, it seems consistent with the global gender distribution among software development professionals.
3 women in a team of 30 people.
