Information... give us real data regarding sales, DSO and shipments. Help us understand how we are compensated. Help us define who will be compensated for which product lines.
I'm fixing several peoples' mistakes, doing my managements' paperwork and spend too much time reporting out on "fake" news. In other words, the pipeline doesn't match the quoting activity because the system isn't synchronized.
Leading... they don't know our product, process or how to write marketing programs. They don't understand the needs of the customers and they remain isolated from feedback. Sales management doesn't understand the meaning of "removing sales roadblocks."
