
It depends on the job you are interviewing for. If you are applying for software engineering there will most likely be algorithm questions (trees, lists, graphs, array manipulation etc.), along with systems/api design. For PM, it will be heavy on product/feature design (questions like how would you make bing better, are common). Brain teasers and they like used to be more popular, but are fairly rare now.
Why do you think you are a good fit for this position? And Why are you a good fit for Microsoft? And Do you have the schematic worked out for teleportation?
How you react within certain circumstances, they also ask about your background and future plans. Pretty standard stuff, I was hired via Skype, fairly quick and easy interview process.
Tell me a time when you ...... Behavioral for the most part. How you've dealt with difficult employees, situations, etc.
It depends on the type of position you are interviewing for (software, firmware, EE, ME, etc).
