Duh. Everybody's treated differently depending on who they are individually. If men and women as groups are different across some parameters, then men and women as groups will be treated differently. By and large, both men and women are treated as individuals without predispositions. People who've made it to Microsoft are already outstanding in unique ways; man vs. woman simply doesn't confer any helpful signals in this context, let alone compared to things like education and employment history.

Absolutely. The hiring standards are much lower for women. Diversity goes too far when it does not require all candidates to pass a minimum criteria for the same job.

Women are treated much better. Microsoft has exec bonuses tied to diversity. A sales career for a woman means lots of opportunity.
