My team is comprised of 8 incredible people, who've taught me a whole bunch. Until recently we had one female engineer, but hired another early this year. There are also a number of queer coders on my team and an African American male engineer. However, my team is more of an outlier than the norm. Nevertheless, MongoDB works hard to foster a welcoming environment to all kinds of people; we're always striving to improve.
We have some women engineers, and a couple who don't identify themselves as one of the traditional binary genders across different levels of seniority. It is hard to answer "it's diverse enough" without defining what is enough, but we are definitely looking to hire more non-cis male engineers.
