Terrible. I have left a phone message and emailed the director of HR benefits with no response. I have emailed the HR benefits department several times with the response, I will forward this information to the director of HR benefits and still she has not emailed or phoned. It is just a terrible way to be treated.

More training for managers on engagement and managing effective teams

The ACO and CMO is growing. Information Technology is growing, but the vision is short-sighted.

Transplant and cancer care growing and mom and babies having difficulty.

Some of the highest levels are humble and courteous. Some of the lowest level managers are snobbish and uppity.

Excellent coworkers who really care about the patients.

Inflexible. A lot is up to manager discretion, but it doesn't help to have a dictator for a manager.

It was trial by fire and judgmental and biased and tolerated power struggles and infighting.

Emotional Intelligence is sorely lacking at all levels and in all departments. It's a treasure to have a well-rounded person, regardless of how mundane or complex their responsibilities might be.

Some areas are stuck in first generation technology, while a few rare areas are on par with the times. It's a stark contrast.

People have grown overnight when they are highly coachable and have the right mix of soft skills and people skills, but you have to have an equally mentoring manager to go to bat for you.

The retirement contribution is the nicest contribution. Health benefits are only nice if you are a Montefiore customer, which leaves you with the choice of affordable doctor's visits vs. huge out-of-pocket payments.

Depends on who you are. If you know someone influential, you can make top dollar for being an obstructionist. If you work hard and deserve it, but have a boss who won't fight for you, you will be paid less than the base range of the salary for your role.
