We are getting back to our core mission, moving us back to a vision that places a high importance upon a strong internal culture that leans into our maxims.
They are honest and forthcoming about current and future aims. Communication is clear and open.
The vision and is clear and communicated properly.
They are open and direct.
Down to earth, really care about customers, the company, and their employees
Care about you as people
I don't feel like I'm known to the leadership team at all. I have skills that could be useful to them in their stated goals, but nobody has reached out to me. It seems that there's a substantial divide between leadership and "line-level" employees.
I am a contractor and have only interacted with Bails Associates and the help desk at Nordic.
Improve communication. Improve orientation and give clear expectation for roles
compensation doesn't match market. vastly different pay for people in the same roles. benefits do not match industry standard.
It's a fair and comprehensive benefit package. I appreciate that parental leave feedback was accepted and incorporated in the most recent round of benefit adjustments.
The bonus potential is great but I didn't get to see all of it this year, only having been here for part of the "bonus year".
The rate per hour is great.
The vacation policy is wonderful. Although I haven't taken time off yet, it is nice to not stress about using up accrued time - we take as we are able.
The competitive salary is by far the best part of the compensation package
I think our wages should be increased significantly as it is hard for us at the service desk to provide for our families right now, especially with inflation.
There seems to be a lot of disparities between how different departments are paid. There is not transparency on pay rates and managers are unaware of rate in other departments, when everyone is working for the same goal.
there's no overtime, i work 84 hours a week.
I have found that Nordic is on the low end of compensation for someone with my skills and experience.
I took a significant pay cut to take this job and I don't believe an effort was made to get me any higher than the lowest rate the client was offered.
They are high caliber critical thinkers who help me expand my knowledge base and grow personally and professionally.
Willingness for people helping others and setting aside what they are doing to quickly and thoroughly help.
The are knowledgeable and willing to help
I never feel like work is distributed unfairly. Everyone is willing to do their part.
Everyone is brilliant in their own way. It would be valuable to do a leadership and communication style assessment though - I think this would help all of the business lines work better together.
I don't know anyone at all, even though I allegedly work with several of them.
There is a sense of disorganization sometimes.
Respect eachother, communicate and support eachother to succeed, address bullying behaviour from leaders rather than promoting individuals who are toxic
There's a huge skills gap in certain areas of the company. Are we testing future employees to ensure they actually have the experience and expertise we're selling to customers? All to often I see poorly skilled consultants in roles they shouldn't be because we rushed to get a body into the pos.
We work well together now. It would be nice if more people looked at Insight.
Women's voices are lifted up and we see examples of women in leadership all across our company.
We want to provide the best value and help to our customers and work hard to do that together.
goals are communicate clearly which makes is easy to understand.
They are willing to hear feedback.
Everyone's desire to care for our clients.
nothing, its perfect as is.
More professional development opportunities and cross-training. Would like to add to skills to make it easier to find future contracts, especially these days.
Managed Services should feel like part of Nordic rather than something less
The company culture is usually the client I am working for. Generally I can make it a positive experience with demonstrating a good attitude, which I try and do.
Stronger leadership and vision-setting from the level below our CEO. More support from those leaders at that level to make us feel valued, remove barriers so we can be successful, and promote guiding principles more specific to our business units.
It was a comprehensive opportunity allowing me to learn about the role, the people, and the company while the interviewers were also exploring my fit for the position as they learned about me and my experience and skillset.
Getting to see and interact with the company and people, conversational
They were transparent and fair. I did not get the sense they were trying to low ball me.
I liked that all of my conversations felt like I was chatting with a friend. Everyone was genuinely kind and thoughtful. They were also very interested in who I was! It didn't feel like they were just checking questions off of a list, because they asked genuine follow-up questions to my responses.
The variety of questions I was asked
There aren't any Interviews reviews of Nordic Consulting Partners yet.
Be the first to contribute a review.
The challenge of the work, engaging with my intelligent colleagues, and contributing healthcare through technology.
Being a part of something that is growing quickly and being successful at the same time.
The ability to help others all the time.
I take pride in the product that I provide my customers.
Getting our clients what they need
feel no investment in the betterment of nordic when it seems there is no investment to bettering employees
Need more experienced staff. Need leadership that doesn't just bow and bend to every client request and have it be completed without additional contract/compensation by the already overworked team.
We don't have enough staff to support people taking time off. People have been leaving the company at an alarming rate, but team members are left with the same amount of work and we aren't able to hire the same amount of people to replace them.
Have open door communication, establish a clear and safe feedback process in which you are able to bring up concerns without fear of retribution and punitive behaviour by your management and peers. Support management in ability to look after their staff rather than be so over extended
Occasional poor communication and lacking Manager support and focus.
Supportive and collaborative environment where employees have autonomy to do their work to the best of their ability.
Transparency...everything that happens, I already knew about it prior.
Better communication, a more genuine focus on DEI from executive leadership, less meetings.
Benefits, they are good, but could be a little less costly.
