The store level associates sees the CEO as out of touch and puts very little value on the face of the company “The Store Teams” its all lip service and very little monetary incentive and understaffed logistics conditions. They could share the wealth in many ways to instill more brand pride. They spend money at the corporate level liberally and do it well. Example water for just the corporate employees.
The CEO has made zero effort to engage the rank and file. We see other huge cooperations using the massive tax break to give at least a small piece back to the employees. That's obviously not going to happen here. Basically your typical 'for the share holders' - 'screw the employees' highly paid executive.
Honestly, I don't know who our CEO is anymore. Roland Smith was leaving, but I don't know if the change has happened yet, and if so, who the new guy is. There's no communication from the top to the store level anymore. It's like upper management wants to keep everything a secret.
He is too new to say yet. It seems like he is making a effort to shake things up and get the company moving forward with fresh ideas. Let’s se if this CEO values his front line as the others before him over He last 5yearshave not.
The people in my store don't really have an opinion of the guy. We'll never meet him, we know he doesn't care about us personally, so we don't care. If he visited stores and worked with us, doing actual grunt work, I think we'd respect him more.
they need to be back at our level for a MONTH doing what we have to get done Feel our pain
He's certainly an upgrade from the old CEO we had. He seems actually caring and innovative.
