How's the work pace at Office Depot?

It used to be varied. Sometimes it could be slow and suddenly we would be overwhelmed with tasks. The company used to stop all plan-o-grams over the back to school season, but this year we were inundated with them. Thes things, along with the cut in hours and the reliance of the smaller staff, have started taking their toll on a lot of the workers. The home office is expecting more and more work, with no pay increase. This seems to have lead to a loss of many qualified employees recently, who have been with the company for fifteen or more years.

Sometimes we are quite busy At the store and lines can get rather long. We try to keep up as best we can with the registers we have. Then there are some times we don’t have many customers in the store and st that time we try to catch up on cleaning and filling and go backs!
