
The culture is cookie cutter. We used to be able to run our stores to fit our customer base. Now it's all about being interchangeable. If you step into one store, you've stepped in them all. We have to say the same thing when answering the phone. The "script" part of trying to sell is mind-numbing. I've had customers repeat back to me what we're supposed to say because they've heard it so many times, at our store and our competitors.
Most people are fairly disillusioned with the company, at least in my area. We get tired of the company putting profit above the well being of the employees.
High expectations for little pay and no real future. Not a great opportunity for stable growth. Phony upper management.
Worry some of job security always. Selfless service to the company with little reward and very little genuine recognition..
I think they are trying to improve the culture but need to step outside the box
to demanding to much to try to get done
