Respectable salaries. A not-filthy office. Toilets that actually function in the bathroom. Proper staffing numbers, rather than redlining it and hoping nobody needs time off or gets sick.
We have some of the best team members, the most intelligent and devoted individuals I've ever met. That's entirely based on my manager's skillful hiring process. Unfortunately these employees are all leaving in droves because of the work conditions.
The people I directly work with. Anyone mid level management or above is incredibly toxic to the rest of us. The people I see on a daily basis are critically thinking individuals with amazing skills who aren't being recognized.
Treating their employees as valuable members of the team. They run around touting this "treat your employees well and they will treat your customers well" as if they do that. But they treat us all like garbage and pretend that we can be replaced by some horrifically flawed AI program.
