
I believe the digital departments of the existing Marketing team in Jersey City (as of January 2018) are very effective and efficient. The negative part of Marketing for the most part, are the various business units that utilize the digital Marketing departments, are very inefficient and uneducated when it comes to digital marketing best practices and ideology. Also, as the year of 2018 progresses, most of what previously came down the pipeline from intra-office depts in NJ, are increasingly not under their control. The company is beginning to fragment due to their successes and constant acquisitions. One of those great businesses, is in the process of merging their own marketing team completely with the Corporate HQ marketing team. This is clearly causing a once effective and efficient unit to become removed from the decision making process. I predict that the Utah marketing department will be the new Jersey City marketing department by the end of 2018. To be continued...
