Clearly articulate aligned company goals. Be unafraid to share the feedback of their team on pain points hindering their ability to be successful. Have the functional expertise for their specific functions.

The cross-functional team I work with is solution-oriented and has a can-do attitude and is committed through their words and actions to making my brand a success. My direct reports are competent and want to do good work.

I feel undervalued because my manger exclusively gives me constructive feedback and never any positive reinforcement or recognition for anything I've done well. Though the scope of my role and my skillset and competencies exceed that of others I am compensated less than them.
